This document provides a consensus view of Service and Quality Standards for the provision of neonatal care in the UK. It is the amalgamation of two documents: the º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Service Standards and Neonatal Service Quality Indicators documents.
The recommendations in this document represent a professional view of the current best practice principles as they apply to neonatal care and are consistent with the Neonatal Critical Care Review (NCCR). Recognising some differences in the organisation of services between the devolved nations, º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Service and Quality Standards are intended to be applicable throughout the UK.
